Say hello to the blusundaze team!
Blusundaze was founded out of Edmonton, AB by a mother and daughter. Both mother and daughter have a love for jewelry and designing. They come from a chilean background and have returned home, only to come back with suitcases of jewelry with a latin twist. When the pandemic hit they were unable to go home and they missed shopping the markets of unique crafters in chile. This led them to the idea of finally turning their passion into a business.
They spent the pandemic working on the front lines and creating their business. When they weren't at the hospital they were creating and designing unique pieces. It was important to them to make their jewelry inclusive, with a touch of home. They believe jewelry is for everyone and their pieces should represent that. They designed all types of pendants with different chains and rings that are adjustable. Theirs a piece for everyone. Their jewelry is gold plated and stainless steel or titanium metal, using stamping techniques as chilean crafters would do. Their gems and stones are sourced from chilean quartz mines as chile is known fo the mining of fine quartz. Lastly they take influences from the indigenous chilean roots when designing new pieces, with a modern twist.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am currently a nursing student very close to graduation. I hope to work in cardiology or palliative care after graduating. Currently I work in the hospital as a nursing assistant in cardiac intensive care and the medicine program. I have a small frenchie, a orange tabby and a mini rex free roam bunny. When im not creating and designing I am a very busy student and fur mom. I recently got engaged to my best friend and plan to tie the knot in 2024.
I started my passion pf designing with cosmetics and gained a certificate of makeup artistry through eveline charles academy. Soon after my passion grew into jewelry and I decided to follow my passion of designing into a small business. With my mom by my side we are able to cater designs to many different ages and styles. My business is great because it has not only been a dream come true but a way to connect with my mother after such a busy life. We get to spend time and connect on something we both love.

My name is Carolina. I am co-owner of blusundaze, as well as Jasmines mother. This whole experience has been amzing, creating a brand with my daughter. It has been a way to connect and spend time together. Doing this with my daughter has made this journey that much more special.
Besides being a mother I work at the hospital. When I'm not contributing to our business, I am working as a hospital unit clerk. I am work in a step down unit. I a a owner of two gorgeous pups. I have a samoyed named Barca and a toy poodle named Chewie.
